PGA Professionals will conduct week long camps for entry level to advanced players.  Our goal is to transform players into scoring machines, advancing them into single digit handicaps.  Classes will be limited to 5 students per PGA Member which will greatly increase the attention and provide a one-on-one learning environment.  This new golf instruction will include the following :  One-on-one instruction, V-1 computer swing analyses, driving range instruction, motion and flexibility evaluation, strengthening and muscle development, on course instruction, scoring development, bunker and trouble shot instruction, custom club fitting analysis, short game scoring development, and lunch.

This level offers novices an introduction to the basics of the golf swing.  You will learn the correct posture, grip, set-up, aim, and putting.  All the necessary tools you will need to start to become a complete golfer.  Classes will be held on the course and at the driving range.

The purpose of this league is to give you an opportunity to play golf at an affordable price and to prepare you for high school golf.  Being on this league is a great privilege and will be available to only 30 players.  As a part of this venture you will be required to assist us with running your own league, electing league officials and mentoring the new league players from the challenge league.   Qualifying players will be required to pay a $250 fee to be on the team.

This will be our seventh season offering this great league where youngsters will have a chance to play golf on the course and to compete in the National Hook a Kid on Golf Challenge.  Three out of the seven seasons our team was national champions.  There are two leagues the Challenge League (PGA Tour) and the Blue League (Nationwide Tour) each student will placed on a league based on their ability.  Both leagues will be on the course with the Challenge League playing their own ball and the Blue League competing in team events.  Come out and try out for this fun league and learn even more about this great game of golf.  Our goal is to provide a format of play that is fun and at the same time teach youngsters rules, etiquette, and the history of the game.  All this is excellent preparation for high school golf.  Anyone who has not completed our Tee Level Clinic or Green Level program will not be allowed to participate at this level.  Team players will be required to have a complete set of clubs.  Due to the availability of the golf course, we are forced to a 50-person league limit, but we will be willing to sign up substitutes for each team.  Park district residents will have priority in signing up.  Qualifying players will be required to pay a $250 fee to be on the team.

After the completion of Hook a Kid on Golf, clinic youngsters will be given a chance to advance to the next level to learn more specific golf fundamentals.  The Green Level Training Program gives youngsters practical experience on the golf course using a fun format that stresses the importance of learning good fundamentals and the rules & etiquette of the game.  In addition, most youngsters also need training on basic course management like avoiding hazards, playing in different weather conditions and how to properly read greens and children will not learn these important aspects of the game unless they learn them on the golf course. This league is comprised of six mini lessons, each of which focuses on a particular aspect of the game.  This class is designed to improve the students’ game by teaching proper fundamentals.  This class can be taken while enrolled in one of the leagues.
